Course Title: Chemistry – University Level

Course Description:
This comprehensive course provides all university students in Jordan with the complete chemistry foundation needed for academic excellence. The theoretical component is carefully designed to cover all topics and curricula taught across Jordanian universities, ensuring students have the knowledge and skills to succeed in any chemistry course or examination.

The course integrates general, organic, and analytical chemistry concepts essential for a wide range of university programs. Emphasis is placed on understanding chemical principles, applying them to real-world problems, and developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of general, organic, and analytical chemistry principles.

• Apply chemical knowledge to scientific, industrial, and environmental contexts.

• Analyze and solve chemistry problems using logical and structured approaches.

• Master the chemistry content required by all faculties across Jordanian universities.

Teaching Methods:

• Comprehensive lectures covering chemistry curricula used in all Jordanian universities, supported by diagrams, models, and multimedia resources.

Assessment:

• Continuous assessment through quizzes, assignments, and active participation.

وصف المقرر:
يقدّم هذا المقرر الشامل لطلبة الجامعات في الأردن أساسًا متينًا في مادة الكيمياء، ويغطي جميع المفاهيم التي يحتاجها الطالب للتفوّق الأكاديمي. تم تصميم الجزء النظري بعناية ليشمل جميع الموضوعات والمناهج المعتمدة في الجامعات الأردنية، مما يضمن للطلبة الإلمام الكامل بالمادة وتحقيق النجاح في أي مقرر أو اختبار كيمياء جامعي.

يشمل المقرر مفاهيم الكيمياء العامة، والكيمياء العضوية، والكيمياء التحليلية، مع التركيز على فهم المبادئ الكيميائية، وتطبيقها في مجالات علمية وصناعية وبيئية، وتنمية مهارات التحليل وحل المشكلات.

المخرجات التعليمية:
بنهاية هذا المقرر سيكون الطالب قادرًا على:

• إتقان مفاهيم الكيمياء العامة، والكيمياء العضوية، والكيمياء التحليلية.

• تطبيق المعرفة الكيميائية في السياقات العلمية والصناعية والبيئية.

• تحليل المشكلات الكيميائية وحلها بأسلوب منهجي ومنظم.

• الإلمام بالمادة المطلوبة في جميع الكليات ضمن الجامعات الأردنية.

أساليب التدريس:

• محاضرات شاملة تغطي المناهج الكيميائية في جميع الجامعات الأردنية، مدعومة بالرسوم التوضيحية والنماذج والوسائط التعليمية.

• مجموعات تعليمية صغيرة للتعلّم القائم على حل المشكلات.

• أدوات تعليمية رقمية للمراجعة الذاتية والتدريبات التفاعلية.

التقويم:

• اختبارات كتابية (اختيار من متعدد وأسئلة مقالية).

• تقييم مستمر عبر الاختبارات القصيرة والواجبات والمشاركة الفعّالة.
