Course Title: Human Anatomy – First Year Medical Students

Course Description:
This foundational course offers a comprehensive study of the structure and organization of the human body, with a specially designed theoretical component that fully covers all anatomy topics and curricula adopted by universities in Jordan. The course ensures that students gain complete mastery of the subject, guaranteeing academic success in anatomy examinations across all Jordanian universities.

Students will explore the human body at both the macroscopic and microscopic levels. The content is organized by major systems and regions, emphasizing the relationship between structure and function, with strong connections to clinical applications and surface anatomy.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Identify and describe the major structures and regions of the human body.

• Understand the functional significance of anatomical structures and their relationship to physiology and disease.

• Apply anatomical knowledge to clinical scenarios and medical problem-solving.

• Build a solid knowledge base that ensures success in all anatomy courses across Jordanian universities.

Teaching Methods:

• Comprehensive theoretical lectures covering anatomy curricula used in all Jordanian universities, supported by visual aids, and imaging resources.

• Laboratory sessions for cadaveric dissection and the study of prosected specimens.

• Small-group tutorials for problem-based learning.

• Digital learning tools to enhance spatial and visual understanding of anatomy.

Assessment:

• Written examinations (multiple choice and short-answer questions).

• Continuous assessment through quizzes and active participation.

Prerequisites:
None – this course is designed for first-year medical students in all Jordanian universities.

وصف المقرر:
يقدّم هذا المقرر التأسيسي دراسة شاملة لبنية وتنظيم جسم الإنسان، مع منهج نظري مُصمَّم خصيصًا ليغطي جميع موضوعات ومقررات التشريح المعتمدة في الجامعات الأردنية، مما يضمن للطلبة الإلمام الكامل بالمادة وتحقيق النجاح الأكاديمي في جميع الامتحانات الجامعية.

يشمل المقرر دراسة جسم الإنسان على المستويين الكلي والمجهري، وينظَّم المحتوى وفق الأنظمة والمناطق الرئيسية، مع التركيز على العلاقة بين البنية والوظيفة وربطها بالتطبيقات السريرية والتشريح السطحي.

المخرجات التعليمية:
بنهاية هذا المقرر سيكون الطالب قادرًا على:

• تحديد ووصف البنى والمناطق الرئيسية في جسم الإنسان.

• فهم الأهمية الوظيفية للتراكيب التشريحية وربطها بالفسيولوجيا والمرض.

• تطبيق المعرفة التشريحية في المواقف السريرية وحل المشكلات الطبية.

• امتلاك قاعدة علمية متينة تُمكّنه من النجاح في جميع مقررات التشريح في الجامعات الأردنية.

أساليب التدريس:

• محاضرات نظرية شاملة تغطي منهج التشريح المعتمد في جميع الجامعات الأردنية، مدعومة بوسائل بصرية ونماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد وموارد تصويرية.

• جلسات مختبرية للتشريح العملي ودراسة العينات المشَرَّحة مسبقًا.

• مجموعات تعليمية صغيرة للتعلم القائم على حل المشكلات.

• أدوات تعليمية رقمية لتعزيز الفهم البصري والمكاني للتشريح.

التقويم:

• اختبارات كتابية (اختيار من متعدد وأسئلة قصيرة).

• اختبارات عملية (تحديد التراكيب وتحليلها).

• تقييم مستمر عبر اختبارات قصيرة ومتابعة المشاركة الفعّالة.

المتطلبات السابقة:
لا توجد – المقرر مخصص لطلبة الطب في السنة الأولى في جميع الجامعات الأردنية.
